Marvel Studios has huge plans for Yelena Belova/Black Widow, played by Florence Pugh.
Justin Kroll of Deadline spoke on Marvel Studios' Thunderbolts during a recent appearance on Matthew Belloni's The Town podcast, referring to the next movie as a Pugh-led spinoff.
According to Kroll, the Marvel superhero that [Florence Pugh] plays already has a spin-off.
A Thunderbolts movie from Marvel Studios was reportedly in development last June, with Jake Schreier attached directly from a screenplay by Eric Pearson.
Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel, announced that Thunderbolts would open in theatres on July 26, 2024, capping off Phase Five of the MCU at San Diego Comic-Con in June.
Pugh most recently portrayed Yelena in the Disney+ original series Hawkeye from Marvel Studios.
