Amazon Music now boasts over 55 million subscribers globally

Apple Music has more than 60 million subscribers, which means Amazon's Music streaming service is trailing behind it.

Amazon Music is finally catching up to Apple’s Music streaming services. The e-commerce giant confirmed that its music streaming service now has over 55 million customers globally. Apple’s music streaming service has 60 million subscribers. Amazon Music might soon surpass Apple.

Swedish streaming giant Spotify has over 113 million paid subscribers, as of September 2019. The pricing, features, and list of songs are the core functions of these streaming services. While Amazon charges $9.99 per month, $119 per year, and an annual Amazon Prime Student membership costs $59 per year. In India, you’ll have to pay ₹129 per month or ₹999 per year. Keep in mind that along with Prime Music, Amazon also bundles Prime delivery and Prime Video.

Apple Music costs $9.99 per month, $14.99 for a family plan, or $4.99 per month if you’re a student. An annual plan will cost you $99. In India, users of the Apple Music pay ₹49 per month for students, ₹99 per month for individuals and ₹149 for a month’s family plan.

For Spotify, users pay ₹13 for a day, ₹39 for 1 week, ₹129 for a month, ₹389 for 3 months, ₹719 for 6 months, and ₹1189 for a year. In the US, users pay $10 per month, students pay $5 per month, $15 family plan per month.
