Android and iOS users can now get their Hands-on Stranger Things 3: The Game

A dedicated tweeter account, that goes by the name of Stranger Things 3: The Game announced the news today. There is a similar game on the Play Store but it explores the story of Season 1.

Talking about the game itself, it has a retro style, following the path of the series. You can quickly judge the gameplay if you just see the word retro. The mechanisms deployed by the makers are modern, no worries there.

If you have watched the series, you won’t be oblivious to what will happen as the gameplay has similar events but it also wants you to uncover never-before-seen quests, character interactions, and secrets. The 90s kids will reminisce games which give nostalgic vibes.

According to BonusXP, “Teamwork is at the heart of Stranger Things 3: The Game. Fans can team up in two-player local co-op to explore the world of Hawkins, solve puzzles, and battle the emerging evils of The Upside Down as one of twelve beloved characters from the show”.

The game is available worldwide, even in India. But, you will have to pay $4.99 to download it. This is a peculiar thing. If you convert $4.99 into INR, you get ₹350 but when you visit the Google Play Store, the price is shown ₹420. Huh. On the App Store, you will have to fork out ₹399. To play the game, iPhones, iPads, and iPod touch devices should be running iOS 11 or later, while Android users will need Android 4.4 KitKat or higher.
