Bloomberg has reported that Apple might be tasting more success for the newly launched AirPods Pro than it had originally expected. It also mentioned that the 3rd-gen AirPods is beating the sales. If a report from Nikkie is to be believed, the Cupertino giant has doubled the orders of the AirPods Pro from a million to 2 million, at least, per month.
The 3rd-gen AirPods have been manufactured by Luxshare in China. The firm had also manufactured the regular AirPods. Apple’s AirPower charging mat was supposed to be manufactured by Luxshare but the product’s existence is not known as of yet.
The report also mentions that the ‘Pro’ in the earbuds actually means something to buyers as they are in more demand as compared to the 2nd-gen AirPods which came with a wireless charging case. These have one business day delivery, while the new Pro model has a 4-week shipping delay. The main reason this could be happening is that retailers are stocking up them before the huge holiday sales begin.
The Apple AirPods Pro isn’t for sale in India yet. It carries a price tag of ₹24,900. The older AirPods costs ₹14,900 while the one with Wireless Charging Case costs ₹18,900. The Wireless Charging Case alone costs ₹7,500.
