Apple has always maintained a strict and robust position when it comes to user data. Apple’s Privacy webpage starts with: ‘Privacy is a fundamental human right’ and is something that has been always promoted by its CEO, Tim Cook. In order to make users aware of the same, Apple has updated its privacy website that falls into various facets of how the company deals with privacy.

Moreover, users on iPhone with iOS 13 have more control of location data they want to share with app developers. Users can even control apps’ access to their location data with a new option to choose whether they allow access each time they use the app. On the other hand, the Health app on iPhone has a dedicated cycle tracking feature for women and comes with intimate and sensitive information. To which Apple said, all the data including cycle tracking is encrypted on-device.
The updated privacy website contains a lot of information about how and what Apple does or does not do with any kind of user data. Apple is, therefore, making it easier for its users to understand how it manages privacy.
