Google has confirmed its annual event date where we will get to see the 4th generation of Pixel smartphones and a few new device upgrades. The search giant sent out some invites for the event which said “Come see a few new things Made by Google,” which will take place on October 15th in New York City.
Of course, Google will unveil the heavily rumored Pixel 4 and the Pixel 4 XL. Cameras will receive major upgrades. Yes, cameras. Finally, Google too jumps on the bandwagon of dual cameras. They will blow the competition out of the park for sure. An iPhone-like face scanning might also be on its way, as Google themselves leaked. In addition, the hideous notch will be replaced by huge top bezels but that’s because of the Project Soli, that will aid in the face-scanning 2.0.
The Pixel 4 will also feature 90Hz OLED displays. This will make the Pixel 4’s interface feel smoother and more responsive. Newer upgrades include Snapdragon 855 processor and 6GB RAM, an additional 2GB from the last year’s Pixel 3. Regarding the colors, the Panda color will also be available, which was not an option on the Pixel 3 series.
Home Mini will also be upgraded as the current model is 3 years old. Google is also said to be making DSLR-like accessories. Maybe the firm is paving the way for the upgraded cameras, which is rumored to include astrophotography mode which will let you capture starscapes without any tripod.
We will give you all the details once the products are official.
