Something has leaked and taken over the internet with a storm. The site MySmartPrice has unveiled the features and images of the most awaited Google Home Hub Smart display ahead of its Google Pixel 3 event.
Google was said to be working on a smart speaker with the display to rival Amazon echo show and that it could be expected to launch alongside Pixel 3 smartphones on October 9. The MySmartPrice has put out images and screenshots according to which the speaker will have a 7-inch screen. The site has also put out screenshots of the official product specifications page. There is a chalk white and also charcoal variant of the Google Home and mini. The speaker will be behind the touchscreen. According to reports, the speaker will not run full-fledged Android OS, but a sealed down Google Assistant Interface. Google Home hub will perform tasks based on voice commands in addition to the touchscreen interface.
The 7 inch LED display will display information like time, weather as well as show daily commute routes of a user on Google maps. It can be paired with Nest Cam for enhanced security features using voice commands. It will also be compatible with appliances like TV, lights etc.
You can also view google photos on the speaker. It will likely weigh about 480 grams and lack a webcam. It will support both 2.4GHz and 5 GHz wifi connection as well as Bluetooth. Although what’s funny is it will lack a camera so video calling or any other feature like that won’t be feasible with this product. The smart display Google Home Hub will cost around $149.
