Google might unveil Pixel 4a, Android 11 and more at I/O 2020

Google I/O will be held between May 12 and May 14, 2020.

Google confirmed its I/O 2020 date a few days ago and it’s expected that we might see the Pixel 4a and the upcoming Android 11. The event will commence from May 12 to May 14 at the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, near Google’s HQ.

To jog your memory, Google has launched Pixel 3a last year at their I/O 2019 so rumors are rife that this year too there will be new devices. The phone has been leaked quite a few times before its anticipated launch. Mishaal Rahman from XDA Developers revealed codenames for three new Pixel devices: sunfish, redfin, and bramble.

Sunfish Pixel 4a could be equipped with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 730 chipset, which can connect to 4G networks. Redfin will feature a slightly more powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 with 5G support while Bramble will come with Snapdragon 765.
