HMD Global has launched the Nokia X71 alongside the flagship Nokia 9 PureView in Taiwan on Tuesday. Nokia X71 has debuted with the company’s first hole-punch display for a maximum screen to body ratio display which sits at 83.9%. Priced at approximately $380 (₹26,000), the Nokia X71 sports a 6.3 inches Full HD+ IPS panel (which achieves 500 nits of brightness) with 19:3:9 aspect ratio and a 2.5D double-sided glass.
Nokia X71 sports three physical buttons – volume rockers and a power button, which doubles as a light for missed alerts. Audiophiles can take a sigh of relief as HMD has opted for a 3.5mm headphone jack. Swing the phone on its back and you see a triple camera setup with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner below the lens setup.
Nokia X71 runs the latest Android 9.0 Pie and will come in a single Eclipse Black variant. The SoC on the phone is Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 660 with Octa Core and Adreno 512 along with 6GB RAM to run those heavy games without any hiccups.
