Another relevance-related concept is “time on page,” and this is the time that the visitor spends on your page before going off-page.

This means that if your user finds the content you put out there useful and relevant to the search term, they will spend lots of on-page time. And if it has nothing to do with their search term, they will leave it as soon as possible, and in some instances, immediately!

Keeping your visitors’ on-page time longer means that your page is relevant and can rank your site better.
