Huawei promises 100% refund if Google and Facebook Apps stops functioning

Huawei has been in the news for a while now and it’s not for being the king of smartphone photography. Unless you’ve been living under a rock, Huawei has been facing bans from a lot of firms like the SD Card Association and Google. Although most of them have uplifted the ban, Google seems to be in a crux.

To gain the consumer’s trust, Huawei has started a full refund program for its smartphones which will refund the full amount of the phone if Google and Facebook apps like stop working on their products. The program is only functional in the Philippines for now.

The devices that come under the program are Huawei P30, P30 Pro, P30 Lite, the Mate 20 series, the P20 series, and the Nova series. Make sure you have a purchase receipt. Huawei has taken this step after Google has revoked the licenses for future Huawei phones. Even Facebook has cut ties with Huawei.

The program seems like baby steps taken to gain the consumers’ trust after the much-publicized debacle. Stay tuned for updates on Huawei’s position in the market in the coming months.
