We are literally just a few days away from the official launch of the 4th generation of Pixel but the leaks seem to keep, eh leaking. Google themself tweeted a photo of the Pixel 4, giving a massive shock to the tech world. A few weeks earlier, a hands-on video was leaked which confirmed the presence of a 90Hz display. Now, 9to5Google has shared some of the photos that were captured with the upcoming Pixel 4.
The above images put the focus on pets. In the first image, we can see that the dog is in focus but the edges still struggle to detect hair. In the second image, the dog is seen running with its owner. The shot is excellent as there’s no blur. The HDR is also handled quite well.
Google is pompous about its Night Sight, and rightfully so. It puts the night mode on other cameras to shame. The details are highlighted well with great emphasis on HDR.
These images handle HDR flawlessly. The guy running with the sun at his backdrop. The silhouette created with the amalgamation is quite DSLR-like. The second image shows the grass in a good light while the t-shirt color doesn’t fade.
Coming to the selfie camera, the images look crisp. The blurring is extensive but it does a great job. Skin tones aren’t beautified as Samsung’s front cameras usually do.
The spotlight of the leaked images is the photo captured of the night sky. It is rumored that Google might call this “mode” astrophotography, which will capture amazing details of the night sky.
9To5Google also managed to leak a full-fledged spec-sheet of the upcoming Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL. The only difference between the two phones is the display resolution, screen size and battery capacity (5.7, Full-HD+ and 2800mAh on the smaller while 6.3 and 3700mAh on the XL) Both the phones support the 90Hz display, which Google will call Smooth Display, Stereo Speakers, Motions Sense that is made possible by Project Soli.
I do hope that Google has a surprise as almost everything has been revealed.
