It is believed that Samsung is going to launch its second foldable device next month alongside the Galaxy S20. In leaks from German outlet, WinFuture, the Galaxy Z Flip reveals the first official renders of the device along with its full specs.
The main internal display is using Samsung’s “Infinity Flex” screen technology and comes in at 6.7-inches with a resolution of 2630 x 1080. There is a centered hole-punch cutout for the front-facing camera, along with a tall 22:9 aspect ratio. It will also use an ‘Ultra-Thin Glass’ display as opposed to the plastic display used by its predecessor, the Galaxy Fold. The phone will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 855+. Its outward-facing camera array will have two lenses that include a 12 MP main lens and another 12 MP ultra-wide lens while an interior lens will be 10 MP. There is a secondary 1.06-inch Super AMOLED display on the front cover that can be used for showing the time, incoming notifications, and other information when the Z Flip is closed.
It is not yet confirmed of when the device will be released or what its price will be but according to the speculations made by WinFuture, it will retail at about $1,400.
