Swiss-American multinational manufacturer Logitech seems to have confirmed Apple’s rumored October event by revealing the upcoming iPad Pro models.
The company listed compatibility with some unreleased iPad Pro models for its ‘Crayon Digital Pencil’ product on its website, which is an Apple Pencil competitor.
Here are the two new models Logitech added to its compatibility list:
- iPad Pro 12.9-inch (6th gen)
- Model: Coming soon
- iPad Pro 11-inch (4th gen)
- Model: Coming Soon
Logitech has taken down both models from the page, but the error points to two upcoming generations of the 11 and 12.9-inch iPad Pro that haven’t yet launched.
Since Apple also works exclusively with Logitech on this, the firm does have some information about the upcoming iPad Pro updates. Likewise, this could indicate that Logitech is formulating a new version of its Crayon accessory that doesn’t use Apple’s beloved Lightning connector.
As for the event, Apple is rumored to be hosting a special event in October where it will take the curtain off a new lineup of iPad Pro and MacBook models. If new iPad Pros are on the way, we are certainly not far off from that announcement.
The new iPad Pro models could get significant upgrades, including the still-new M2 processor, the latest display technology, better cameras, and more.
