Madonna Louise Ciccone, or Madonna, has seemingly come out as gay in a new video shared on her TikTok account.
The 64-year-old singer filmed a TikTok video throwing underwear into a trash can saying if she missed the can, it meant she was gay. She missed the mark.
Madonna has been a fierce advocate for LGBTQ rights. She supported the community even during the AIDS epidemic in the 1980s. In 2019, she even won the ‘Advocate for Change Award’ at the 30th GLAAD awards.
Madonna did not write a caption depicting the true nature of the video, but her followers – whom she calls ‘Rebel Hearts’ – were quick to share their thoughts in the comment section: “We are witnessing herstory”, “Did I just witness Madonna coming out, good for her.” “Did Madonna just come out? And I’m witnessing it in real time??”
The video comes after the singer was spotted kissing Dominican rapper Tokischa while sitting at the front row at New York Fashion Week. The couple was also seen kissing during a Pride event.
In the 2022 version titled “Hung Up on Tokischa,” Madonna and Tokischa can be seen romancing each other.
In the video, the duo kiss while on the dance floor, in an empty room with flashing lights, and at the end they are surrounded by a group of people. The duo also prays in one of scenes.
The internet is now enduringly waiting for Madonna to address the real meaning of the TikTok video.
