HMD Global tweeted a teaser of the upcoming Nokia 4.2 yesterday, making the device almost official. The teaser comes days after the Nokia 3.2 and 4.2 were spotted on the Nokia website. The short clips teased the phone’s power button coupled with LED light and a Google Assistant button. It’s safe to say that the Nokia 4.2 will launch on May 7, deducing the tweet.

The teaser also mentions that the phone will launch in three days, which is May 7 according to the day the tweet was posted. What we don’t know is whether HMD Global will launch Nokia 3.2 alongside 4.2 or not. But a listing that was spotted last month suggests so.
Nokia 4.2 will sport a 7.1inches HD+ a-Si TFT display along with 2.5D curved glass protection and a 3000 mAh battery. It will have dual-SIM support which will run on Android 9.0 Pie. The phone will be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC coupled with 3GB RAM. It’ll have a base storage of 32GB which will be further expandable up to 400GB.
The phone will feature a dual lens module on the rear that will include a 13MP primary sensor (f/2.2) a 2MP secondary sensor (f/2.2). The front camera will be an 8MP sensor (f/2.0).
Other functions consist of Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will have a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for security purposes and a dedicated Google Assistant button.
