Microsoft’s Edge browser is gaining new features in a new update. Those include displaying coupons and promo codes in the browser as an alert. So, when you shop online, they’ll automatically be applied to the cart. You’ll also see price comparisons that the browser will bring up, showing you the same thing at different prices.
Just a few weeks ago, Edge introduced the price comparison feature as a part of its Collections feature. Coupons and codes add to the experience. This might be Microsoft’s way of promoting Edge as the ultimate browser for online shopping. Only US customers can take advantage of the feature as of now.
For those not interested in online shopping, Edge has introduced some nifty features that will add to your productivity. Users can now add text notes to PDFs and annotate them as well. This feature, which many users requested, will come in handy for students or those who live on annotating PDFs. The inking feature is also returning to Edge, which will enable users to annotate and digitally ink the screenshots.
As for the upcoming features, Microsoft will add an option to capture a full webpage in a screenshot. This new tool will automatically scroll down a webpage. This simply means that you’ll soon be able to capture the contents of a webpage in one image.
