American singer-songwriter Billie Eilish Pirate Baird O’Connell – or better known by her stage name Billie Eilish – is being more comfortable with her different life.’
On an Australian breakfast radio show, Fitzy & Wippa, Billie Eilish revealed that “Fame can be a freak-out,” and “I used to go out and like walk around and do stuff. And I don’t do that as much. Because life is a little different.”
Billie found her comfort in wildlife, bird song, and bike riding. “So I have been doing more stuff. But I have also just been busy. We were in New Zealand, and we went on a bike ride… I’ve been going out more for the last couple of years,” she said.
Eilish is presently Down Under for the domestic portion of her ‘Happier Than Ever’ world tour, which starts in Auckland, NZ.
She recounted that when she was on tour, “I was just like, scared to step outside because I was just worried. I’m more chill about it. Now I’m more comfortable in it.”
Eilish also met the royals last year for the premiere of ‘No Time To Die, for which she recorded the theme song – the youngest to do so.
“I had it all ready to go. I was like studying what the etiquette was supposed to be. I was like ready to curtsy. I was ready not to shake a hand. I was ready to not ask questions and not speak unless I was spoken to. And I was so worried about it. And they walked in, and it was great. They were so nice and friendly and charming,” she said she had a brush encounter with the royals.
