Chinese smartphone maker OnePlus has finally launched the OnePlus 7T Pro as its newest flagship. Alongside the OnePlus 7T Pro the company has launched OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition. The design language of the 7T Pro is very much similar to that of OnePlus 7 Pro. “The OnePlus 7T Pro combines the latest innovations with our signature features such as 90 Hz Fluid Display and triple camera setup for the next level in fast and smooth experience,” said Pete Lau, CEO, and Founder of OnePlus.
The smartphone will be made available in a sale at 12 pm IST on October 11 via OnePlus exclusive stores across 8 cities in India. It will also go on sale starting from 12 October on Amazon India whereas the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition will be made available on November 5.
OnePlus 7T Pro Specifications
OnePlus 7T Pro will come with a pop-up selfie camera design and will have a curved-edge AMOLED display. It will run on OxygenOS 10.0 based on Android 10 and is incorporated with an upgraded processor that will deliver 15% faster rendering of graphics over the Snapdragon 855+ SoC. The phone will have improved overall performance, animations, visuals, gestures, and unlocking speed.
As far as the camera is concerned, the smartphone will come with a Sony 48MP IMX586 sensor with a 7P lens structure, f1.6 aperture, and OIS. The camera setup also features an 8-megapixel sensor with an f/2.4 telephoto lens and OIS support and a 16-megapixel sensor with an f/2.2 ultra-wide-angle lens that offers a field of view (FoV) of 117 degrees. Moreover, it is equipped with a 4080mAh battery with Warp Charge 30T charging technology to deliver faster results. Further Connectivity options on the phone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C. The OnePlus 7T Pro will cost ₹ 53,999 for the 8GB+256GB variant in India.
OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition
OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition will feature a design inspired by the company’s well-known speed cars. According to OnePlus, the lock screen features a minimalist timepiece, inspired by McLaren’s timeless dashboard instrumentation. As shown in the image, there would be a Papaya Orange border all-around the rear panel of the device and will feature Papaya Orange UI. Moreover, it will run on Android 10 based OxygenOS 10.0 and will feature a 6.67-inch Fluid AMOLED display with 516ppi pixel density, 90Hz refresh rate, 3D Corning Gorilla Glass protection and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It offers 256GB UFS 3.0 storage with no option to expand it further. The McLaren Edition 7T Pro has been priced ₹ 58,999.
