Online tipster Ishan Agarwal yesterday tweeted that the OnePlus is all set to launch its 6T successor OnePlus 7 on May 14 globally. Following the suit of S10 and Huawei, the chinses manufacturer is going to unveil 3 OnePlus flagships – OnePlus 7, OnePlus 7 Pro, and OnePlus 7 Pro 5G. Take this news with a pinch of salt as the launch date isn’t officially confirmed by OnePlus.
OnePlus’s 2019 flagships will be launched just 2 days before ASUS opens the curtains on its ZenFone 6. This time around, OnePlus is tweaking its display to a curve one, on the lines on Samsung’s recent flagships. Going by the numerous leaks, the image shows a notch and punch-hole free display, alongside a rumored pop-up selfie camera to go all-screen. Though we can’t say anything about the camera as no photos of its back were leaked.
To sum up the “rumored” specifications, OnePlus 7 Pro will sport a 6.7 inches Super Optic display, Snapdragon 855 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB of internal storage. Rumor mills also suggest that it will have a triple camera setup on the back – with a 48MP sensor, a 16MP secondary sensor, and an 8MP sensor. The regular OnePlus 7 will feature a 6.5 inches Full HD+ Optic AMOLED display, with 6GB RAM and Snapdragon 855 processor. The device will be equipped with a larger 4000 mAh battery. All the three models will come with Android 9 Pie, OxygenOS.
Once the launch date is confirmed, we’ll bring you the news with all the other forthcoming leaks, so stay tuned.
