The OPPO Find X was considered to be one of the defining smartphones of the last decade. Now, it seems that Oppo is all set to launch a new smartphone in its Find series – Oppo Find X2 on February 22 in Barcelona. The company will host a pre-MWC 2020 event in Barcelona and has even started sending out press invites for its launch event. The pre-MWC event will begin at 2:00 PM (CET) (6:30 pm IST) and will be held in the Auditori Forum CCIB in Barcelona in Hall 3.
The company at Oppo Inno Day 2019 confirmed that it will launch the Oppo Find X2 in Q1 2020. Oppo Vice President and President of Global Sales Alen Wu said that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 865 SoC. The upcoming smartphone will also come packed with a 65W SuperVOOC fast charging support.
The smartphone is expected to feature a 6.5-inch QHD+ display with a screen resolution of 3168 x 1440 pixels. Users will have an option to choose between the standard 60Hz refresh rate and 120Hz refresh rate. As far as the cameras are concerned, it will have a custom 48MP sensor called the Sony IMX689 with omnidirectional focusing and a 1/1.3 inch sensor size. It will also have a Sony IMX708 secondary sensor and a 13MP telephoto camera for optical zoom. Moreover, not much is revealed about the design of the phone.
