Leaks and rumors have almost revealed what the upcoming Google Pixel 4 could look like and what bells and whistles it hides beneath the Pixel 4 moniker. A new report points out that Google could implement these gestures with some media apps, 24 to be precise, out of the box.

Motion Sense, which is powered by Project Soli, is the ability to control things like music without touching our phones by simply gesturing over the screen. The feature uses radar technology that detects various hand gestures. The aforementioned teaser showed that tracks could be changed with a wave of your hand.

Dylan Roussel of NextRift discovered that a list of nine applications that have been whitelisted as ‘Supported Apps.’ One can conclude that only these apps could fully make use of the Motion Sense. However, according to XDA Developers, Google will keep adding support for more apps in the near future.

Here’s the list of apps that will support Motion Sense:

  • Amazon Music
  • Anghami
  • Apple Music
  • AWA
  • 벅스 (Bugs Music)
  • Deezer
  • Gaana Music
  • 지니 뮤직 (Genie Music)
  • Google Play Music
  • Hungama Music
  • iHeartRadio
  • JioSaavn
  • KKBOX
  • MyMusic
  • Napster Music
  • Pandora
  • Shazam
  • SiriusXM
  • Spotify
  • Spotify Stations
  • TIDAL Music
  • Wynk Music
  • YouTube Music

If you’ve closely observed, the names of the Indian music-streaming apps like Gaana, Hungama, JioSaavn, and Wynk are missing. The reason is that India has not yet been listed as an approved country for Motion Sense.
