Sony is on fire, figuratively speaking! After unveiling its Vision-S at the CES 2020, the Japanese tech giant unveiled the logo of the much-awaited PlayStation 5. Many were hoping that Sony would show off the design of the PlayStation 5.
Yes, that’s the logo of the upcoming PS5. It’s bland and feels like it’s rehashed from the PS4 logo. I guess Sony was going for the ‘If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it‘ policy. But then again, a few colors would have been nice, don’t you think? In its presentation, the company just spoke about a few sales numbers for the PS4 and PSVR, its virtual reality gaming solution. Only a few highlights were told about the PS5.
Sony PlayStation5 will include 8K graphics, 3D sound ray tracing capabilities, SSDs for faster speeds. It will also be backward compatible with the PlayStation 4. It is rumored that the PS5 could come with a custom AMD chip inside the PS5, along with a custom AMD GPU.
