After creating chaos in the mobile world by introducing PUBG Mobile, PUBG Corp is all set to launch the PUBG Lite Beta Servers on July 4. It has received over 200,000 registrations. The Lite version is specifically tailored for PCs running on low-end specifications. All those who have pre-registered for the game, the wait is almost over.
Alongside India, PUBG Lite beta will also be launched on the same date in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka. To strike a chord with much of the audience, the Indian Lite Beta version will get support for Hind language.
Brady Choi, VP and Head of PUBG LITE at PUBG Corporation said, “We are very pleased to be able to introduce PUBG LITE to users all over the world. We have a lot of passionate PUBG players in South Asia, so it represents an important area of focus for us.”
If you haven’t yet registered, go the website as pre-registration for PUBG Lite beta testing is still open in India. As for those who had pre-registered for PUBG Lite in India, PUBG Corp. will give away a slew of in-game items as freebies. They include Tiger M416 gun and the Cheetah parachute skins.
Furthermore, PUBG Corp has mentioned that if the pre-registrations reaches 100,000 registrations, all the participants will also get punk glasses, a black scarf, and bloody combat pants. And if the number reaches 200,000 or above, the participants can take home red sports top, the gold PUBG scarf, and a yellow-black striped long-sleeved shirt.
As of now, it’s unclear for how long the beta version will be tested in India. There’s also no information as to when players will get their hands-on the non-beta PUBG Lite.
