Shenzhen-based Chinese manufacturer Realme will launch its 6i smartphone today. Due to coronavirus, it will an online-only event which will take place in Myanmar. The 6i will be available in Myanmar but its availability in other markets is not known. The launch is scheduled at 3 p.m. MMT. Indian users can watch the live event at 2 p.m. The event will be most probably live-streamed on the Realme Myanmar Facebook page.
Realme 6i Specifications
The promotional images of Realme 6i confirm a waterdrop notch display but the size ins’t confirmed yet. It will be powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC which has two Cortex-A75 cores. A listing confirmed that the base model of the phone will have a 4GB RAM so expect the high-end model to come with an 8GB RAM. The phone could run Android 10 put of the box.
Speaking about the optics, the phone has a quad-camera setup that will include a 48MP primary lens. The selfie shooter will be a 16MP camera that will be housed in the said waterdrop display.
The Realme 6i will be powered by a huge 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W quick charging. It could be charged with a USB Type-C port. There’s no word on the 3.5mm headphone jack. The connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.0, 4G LTE connectivity, NFC, FM Radio, and GPS.
Realme 6i Pricing
The Realme 6i could be cheaper than the Realme 6, which costs between ₹12,999 (4GB + 64GB)-₹15,999 (8GB + 128GB).
