Redmi K30 which is a successor to Redmi K20 is going to launch in China today i.e. on 10th December. The Redmi K30 Pro is tipped to launch in March 2020. Tipster Sudhashu Ambhore suggests that the phone will be powered by the flagship processor Snapdragon 865 and be integrated with the X55 modem to enable 5G support. However, the exact launch date for the phone is yet to be revealed.
On the other hand, Redmi K30 will sport a 6.67-inch full HD+ display and will have a 4.38mm punch-hole cutout to accommodate dual selfie snappers. The smartphone is likely to run on Android 10 with MIUI 11 custom skin on top. Redmi K30 will have a 64MP Sony IMX686 primary sensor and likely to be aided by a 13MP wide-angle lens, a 2MP depth sensor, and an 8MP telephoto lens.
The smartphone will pack a 4,500mAh battery with 30W fast-charging support. It could have a 32MP sensor and a ToF sensor for 3D face recognition on the front. As far as the pricing is concerned, the Redmi K30 4G model is expected to cost RMB 2,000 (approx. Rs 20,400), while the 5G variant is expected to cost RMB 2,500 (approx. Rs 25,400) in China.
Redmi K30 Pro is expected to feature a full-HD+ display, at least 8GB of RAM and an in-display fingerprint sensor. As of now, not much is known about the Redmi K30 Pro but it is believed that Xiaomi will reveal the details during the launch of the Redmi K30 in China today.
