Samsung Galaxy Buds have been a huge hit, thanks to its form factor and good battery life. According to a new FCC filing, a new set of Samsung Galaxy Buds are on their way. The reports indicate improved battery life.
A diagram of what could purportedly be of the new Buds, it’s clear that each bud may have a battery capacity of 300mA whereas the case may have a capacity of 600mA. This could probably mean that the 2.0 Galaxy Buds will have triple the battery life for each bud as compared to the Galaxy Buds on the market today.
There’s a possibility that this may be a hoax as in the battery ratings of the original Galaxy Buds, filings were higher than the ones on the final product. The current generation of Buds has a good battery life as it was advertised to get six hours for the buds and seven hours reserved for the case. Critics point out that real-world usage came close to that.
Apart from the one image listed above, the FCC doesn’t have any other pictures to prove this rumor. There’s a chance that the upcoming S11 series could launch alongside the new buds and Samsung might even offer it for free for those who pre-booking it.
