Samsung’s latest Pixel 5 and OnePlus Nord Competitor, the S20 FE, will embrace the Indian platforms on October 16. Tipster Mukul Sharma shared an image of the S20 FE that also mentions the date of the sale. The phone will be launched today in India.
The South Korean firm’s decision to launch a ‘fan-edition’ was confusing on many parts since the Note 20 is placed as a flagship model but with way lesser features than the Note 20 Ultra.
The S20 FE has a 6.5-inch Infinity-O Super AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate for the specs. It features Exynos 990 chipset, the same processor found on the S20 and Note 20 series, and a 4500mAh battery.
It comes in two versions: 6GB RAM with 128GB internal storage, 5G equipped, and 8GB RAM with 128/256GB internal storage, but it’s an LTE variant. All the models can be expanded with a microSD card.
The Galaxy S20 FE has a pro-grade triple camera. It includes a 12MP Ultra Wide camera, 12MP Wide-angle camera, and 8MP Telephoto camera. The front is a 32MP selfie camera with a tetra-binning technology.
The S20 FE is also IP68 rated, which is quite rare in the range. It is said to be priced between ₹50,000-₹55,000 brackets. The launch will reveal its price. Regardless, it will be a premium smartphone that will be sitting in a somewhat affordable segment.
