Samsung is all set to unveil an artificial human named Neon at CES 2020, and according to the Samsung Neon website, it will be revealed on Tuesday, January 7, 2019, at 3:00 AM ET. The new artificial intelligence product will be nothing like the company’s A.I.-powered digital assistant Bixby. As per the teasers posted on the official site and social media handles, Neon appears to be an AI-powered digital human that will replicate the emotions and intelligence real humans.

Neon is developed by the Samsung Technology and Advanced Research Labs, or STAR Labs. Samsung Neon will be able to communicate in multiple languages, as there are promotional images littering the Neon Twitter account in English, Chinese, Spanish, and more.
Honored to have so much coverage even before we unveil. But contrary to some news, NEON is NOT about Bixby, or anything you have seen before. #NEON is coming to #CES2020, so stay tuned! @neondotlife

It would be interesting to know how Neon will be different from Bixby and how it will be an improvement to Samsung’s digital assistant. Moreover, it doesn’t appear that Samsung Neon will be showing off an actual, physical robot.
