Prince Harry and Meghan Markle – The Duke and Duchess of Sussex – have officially been demoted to the bottom of the list on the Royal Family’s website.
After they stepped down from their duties in January 2020, their pictures were pushed below Princess Anne. But since King Charles III has ascended the throne, they sit right on top of the dishonored Prince Andrew.
After returning to the UK following his grandmother and the Queen’s passing, the Duke of Sussex was banned from wearing his military uniform to the upcoming ceremonies — the same wasn’t applied to his family.
Usually, the website ranks the senior working family first, like King Charles III, Queen Consort Camilla, and the Prince and Princess of Wales. They are followed by other minor working members of the Royal Family like the Duke and Duchess of Gloucester and the Duke of Kent.
In addition, Markle and Harry were slighted at the Queen’s funeral when they were forced to sit in the second row rather than upfront with the rest of the royals.
The couple spent 11 days in England following the Queen’s passing, but sources say their relationship with their estranged royal family didn’t improve.
“I think it’s unfortunate that in the day Harry was here, there was an opportunity given they were just a couple of hundred yards away from each other for a meeting or dinner or gathering of some sort where they could just try to thrash things out,” “The New Royals” author Katie Nicholl told Page Six about Harry’s on-going feud with William.
