The realm of photo-sharing has been through a drastic change. A decade ago, photos were taken to create memories, a peek into your past. But today, it is the backbone of social media platforms. So much that phone cameras have gotten close to DSLR, with 50x zoom and ultra-wide angle lenses. But the basic problem remains. Earlier it was physical photo albums whereas today, our photos live on the mercy of digital storage. Be it hard drive or cloud storage, these means have become a money-making mechanism for manufacturers.
You are lured with more storage space at an expensive price and you pay to heed anyway as you are left with no other option. But if you’ve gotten used to cloud storage, bravo!
